We congratulate Music Director Joe Christensen who was presented at the recent Hawkes Bay Big Sing with the NZ Choral Federation Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his voluntary work for the Federation over many years.
Joe has been involved in 20 yrs of Big Sing, presenting over 250 songs with a variety and sometimes multi choirs.
With his hard work and dedication with the NZ Male Choir we have also benefited from his untiring energy and willingness to keep improving us individually and collectively …… albeit with the encouragement of a cold Guinness from time to time.
We are looking forward to continually evolving and improving to adapt as part of New Zealand’s ever changing performing arts community.
